AH! It is a beautiful fall day outside. I have my boots on and a sweater.. It can't get much better... well it can. but you know. I have been harboring an illness the last few days.. ugh! Its awful but I am getting better. Nothing like a stuffy nose, coughing, headache, and that nauseated feeling.
My recruiter called on Thursday and said that MEPS canceled out my need for a consult and just wanted my pathology report. Which was awesome. He was supposed to call yesterday with my password to start on my sevurity clearance paperwork, but he didn't. He must have gotten busy.
Guess who lost 4 pounds??? and a couple inches? oh yea! thats me. I just have to lose like an inch in my waist and an inch in my hips to be on the safe side. I am good to go now. But just in case they measure differently.
Another day down.
Hopefully not too much longer and I will be out of here.
I wonder how I will do in the military lifestyle. I wonder if I will acclimate as well as I hope. When some people find out about my decision.. They are gonna be shocked and not too happy.. Some will try to talk me out of it, and I bet some will wish they still talked to me so they could tell me I am being dumb and I should just keep going to school. But... Because they don't talk to me anymore they have no say in how I live my life and what I think is a good idea and a good step for me.
I took a class at the Y the other day and I had to do push ups and all sorts of crap, and I remember whining and being like... omg if bootcamp is like this, I AM GONNA DIE! but.. I am building my endurance up so I should be just fine. I was thinking about taking 3 college classes before I go in, because I will go in as an E2 instead of E1... its only like 200 more bucks a month, but then I would be able to advance to E3 in like 9 months. I guess it all depends on when the earliest ship out date is.
I am thinking way ahead of myself
Lets get these waivers approved first.
Lose the weight/inches needed.
Pass MEPS
and then see whats happening.
I am gonna try and enjoy this day. I hope everyone has a blessed day.
